Criminal Expert
A time-pressure detective game where your choices actually fork the story, but the clock is the real antagonist here.
GamerScout Verdict
A niche time-pressure detective game best suited to patient players willing to tolerate budget production values for meaningful choice.

About Criminal Expert
I've got limited patience for detective games that pretend choices matter while railroading you toward one ending. Criminal Expert at least commits to the conceit: you're solving a case against a ticking clock, and the branching paths do alter which suspects you can interrogate and what evidence you uncover. The simulation angle is thin, this is more visual novel with time management than procedural detective work, but the pressure of watching minutes drain away does create genuine tension when you're juggling leads. The catch is that with no reviews and a sub-5 tier budget price, it's a gamble on execution. Single-player only, controller-friendly, but I can't tell you if the AI actually holds up under scrutiny or if the story branches feel meaningful versus window-dressing. For $2-3 on a slow weekend, it's worth a punt if you want something shorter than a Sherlock Holmes game. Just temper expectations.
