The conveyor fired the bowling ball half a second early, my gear chain sat there doing nothing, and I spent ten minutes moving one ramp by a few pixels. That loop is the whole appeal, and you cannot get into it here without Crazy Machines 2 installed, because Back to the Shop is an add-on that hooks into the base game rather than running on its own. What it delivers is more workshop: extra contraption puzzles and parts layered onto the existing physics sandbox, PC only, single-player, released in 2008. The data I have does not break out the exact level and item count, so check the store listing for the full manifest before committing. Worth it for completionists who have already solved everything the base campaign threw at them and want tighter constraints. Anyone who has not played Crazy Machines 2 yet should start there instead.
