Crayola Scoot
A scooter trick game where you chain combos to paint the world in Crayola colors. Pure arcade fun for kids and anyone who misses the simplicity of early 2000s console racing.
GamerScout Verdict
A straightforward trick scooter game that delivers arcade fun for kids without pretension, though it won't hold most adults past the first few hours.

About Crayola Scoot
I went in expecting a licensed kids' game and got exactly that, which is actually refreshing in 2018. Crayola Scoot strips away the simulation bloat of modern racing games and just asks you to pull tricks, build combo chains, and watch the park transform with color. The core loop works: nail a flip, land clean, chain into another trick, repeat. Levels gradually introduce new mechanics without overwhelming you, and the visual feedback (all that splashy color painting the environment) is genuinely satisfying even if the actual trick execution is basic. The downside is there's not much depth here once you've learned the rhythm. Tracks are short, AI is straightforward, and the difficulty curve flattens fast. But that's not a flaw for the intended audience. Kids get a accessible, colorful playground; adults get a low-stakes trick game that doesn't pretend to be a sim. It's honest arcade fun that knows exactly what it is.
