Convergence: A League Of Legends Story
Tight platforming, a time-rewind mechanic that actually changes how you think, and a genuinely likable lead character -- no League knowledge required to have a good time here.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for Metroidvania fans and Arcane viewers who want a focused, character-driven platformer with a mechanic that earns its runtime.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Convergence: A League Of Legends Story
I went into this one expecting a licensed cash-in and came out wanting to watch Arcane. That's probably the most honest summary I can give. Convergence is a Metroidvania-leaning 2D action platformer built around Ekko, a kid inventor from the steampunk undercity of Zaun, and the whole game is designed around one central idea: you can rewind time. Not infinitely -- the Z-Drive has a limited number of charges, which forces you to actually think before burning a rewind on a sloppy jump. That constraint is what makes the mechanic interesting rather than a cheap get-out-of-jail card. Miss a parry, eat a boss hit, fall into a pit? You have options. Use them all carelessly and you're staring at a game over screen. The movement toolkit grows steadily across eight chapters spread through six distinct zones plus a central hub called Entresol. Wall running, rail grinding, and a time-slowing field that freezes projectiles and steadies crumbling platforms all slot in at a good pace, and the game consistently combines them in sequences that demand you use everything at once. It is not a genre reinvention -- critics were right to call it on the more linear end of the Metroidvania spectrum. But the pacing earns that linearity. Each new ability opens the map in a satisfying way, and the environments are visually sharp in a comic-book style that holds up throughout. Combat sits somewhere between a brawler and a precision action game. Abilities translated from the MOBA -- chronobreak, phase dive, parallel convergence -- get reimagined here as active tools rather than cooldown buttons, and they add genuine variety to fights. Boss encounters are the highlight: inventive designs, readable patterns, and the rewind mechanic means a single slip does not necessarily end your run. Appearances by champions Warwick, Jinx, and Camille give League fans plenty of fan-service moments, while newcomers get enough in-game context (plus a glossary) to follow along without feeling lost. That said, some reviewers noted the Piltover-Zaun political backdrop is underexplained, which can make a few story beats land softer than intended. The runtime is the main talking point on the negative side. Most players finish in seven to twelve hours depending on exploration, and some found the middle chapters drag before the story picks back up. Completionists can extend that with cosmetic collectibles -- Chromas and Z-Trails that reference LoL characters -- but there is no new-game-plus or substantial post-game hook. If you are hunting a hundred-hour open world, look elsewhere. If you want a well-paced action platformer with a protagonist worth caring about and a mechanic that genuinely changes how you approach both combat and traversal, this delivers cleanly on that pitch. Multiple difficulty options at the start mean it is accessible without being soft.
