The ship sprites matter less unless you zoom in during naval engagements, but dedicated naval players will appreciate the Muslim and Indian fleet visuals in particular. The music additions are the most universally useful part for long sessions, since EU4's vanilla soundtrack, while good, loops hard after a few hundred hours. The awkward part of reviewing this is the mismatch in the metadata: the developer is listed as CAPCOM Co., Ltd., which is clearly a data error given this is firmly a Paradox Interactive product. Worth flagging in case you see something odd on your receipt or store page. The collection has no Steam reviews to draw from and no Metacritic score, which makes sense since cosmetic DLC bundles rarely get critical coverage. Who is this for? Committed EU4 players who want visual variety across the regions these packs cover, or anyone who plays heavily in South Asia, the Americas, or the early colonial period and wants the map to look a bit closer to the era. If you rarely zoom in, or you mostly play European great powers without venturing into these theatres, the visual packs will barely register. The music tracks are the one element any EU4 player can benefit from regardless of playstyle. This is strictly supplementary content, not an argument to start playing EU4 in the first place.
