GamerScout Verdict
A brief, deliberately strange mining adventure for players who appreciate indie quirk over polish.

About Cave Digger
I went in expecting a straightforward mining simulator and got something weirder. Cave Digger drops you into an alternative western town where you're basically a prospector with an increasingly absurd toolkit. You'll dig through mountain depths, stumble onto secrets and easter eggs, and uncover multiple endings depending on what you mess with. It's short, deliberately odd, and runs on the kind of humor that either clicks or doesn't depending on your tolerance for indie weirdness. The mining loop itself is solid enough - gather resources, upgrade your gear, push deeper. But the real draw is the tone: this game knows it's small and leans into that. It's the kind of thing you finish in an afternoon and either laugh about with friends or quietly forget. If you want a cozy mining game, there are better options. If you want something that swings for weird and mostly connects, Cave Digger's worth the modest ask.
