About Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder [VR]
I went in expecting Cave Digger 2 to be a follow-up with more complexity. Instead, VRKiwi doubled down on what works: hands-on mining in VR. You're given tools, a plot of virtual earth, and the freedom to dig however you want. It's tactile and oddly satisfying, especially if you've ever wanted to experience the repetitive motions of mining without the actual cave-in risk. The appeal is narrow but genuine for the right player. The catch is that "dig harder" is literal. Progression is slow, there's minimal story scaffolding, and whether that's meditative or tedious depends entirely on your patience for virtual labor. If you're after story or multiplayer depth, keep looking. If you want a VR experience that's just pickaxe-and-dirt fundamentals executed well, this scratches that itch.
