Castaway Paradise

I went in expecting another animal-crossing-lite, but Castaway Paradise nails the cozy vibe it's aiming for. You're stranded on an island with zero pressure to achieve anything on schedule. Plant crops, catch fish, decorate your homestead, and chat with the handful of villagers who drift through. The loop is simple: gather resources, craft items, repeat. There's no combat, no timers, no artificial urgency. It's pure busywork that somehow feels rewarding when you finally place that perfect decoration. The downside is how slim the content actually is. If you're chasing deep personality or a huge roster of NPCs like you'd find in bigger life sims, you'll feel the budget constraints fast. The visuals are cheerful but basic, and there's not much dialogue to sink your teeth into. But if you want a few hours of quiet island tinkering on your Switch without overthinking it, this scratches that itch perfectly.
