About Bayla Bunny
I spent a couple hours with Bayla Bunny expecting a standard casual platformer, and what I got was something more specific: a game built around the constraint that your protagonist barely slows down. Once Bayla gets running, inertia is your real opponent. You're not precision-jumping between static platforms, you're managing velocity across shifting terrain, learning to trust the rhythm of when to leap and when to let momentum carry you through gaps. It's arcade-simple but demands a feel for physics that casual platformers don't usually ask for. The treasure-hunting premise is thin window dressing, but the level design seems intentional about this momentum mechanic. Whether that's enough to sustain interest depends entirely on how much you enjoy rhythm-based platforming over story. It's not broken or poorly made, just aggressively narrow in what it asks of the player. If you bounced off games like Flappy Bird because they felt tedious, Bayla Bunny probably isn't your speed either. But if you like mastering a single constraint until it clicks, this scratches that itch in about two hours.
