GamerScout Verdict
A safe, unremarkable point-and-click adventure that works but doesn't inspire.

About Mystery Of Rivenhallows
I spent a couple hours with Mystery Of Rivenhallows expecting a genuine homage to LucasArts-era adventure games. What I got was competent but forgettable. The premise involves unraveling secrets in the titular town, and the pixel art does the job without impressing. Puzzle logic is straightforward, inventory management is painless, and there's no real challenge or surprise waiting in the dialogue trees. If you're hunting for something to scratch that retro adventure itch on a lazy afternoon, this won't actively frustrate you. It's just not memorable enough to justify the time investment over actual classics like Day of the Tentacle or The Secret of Monkey Island. Better as a curiosity than a recommendation.
