It's pure perspective-shifting: the camera work and ambient soundtrack do the heavy lifting while you coast and absorb. The appeal depends entirely on patience for slow-burn narrative and willingness to find meaning in what amounts to visual poetry. If you're burned out on systems and scoring, this works.
