ZHIVE
A stark real-time strategy distilled to its core: spawn undead, click a target, watch pathfinding either reward or punish your micro. Simple premise, surprisingly tactical.
GamerScout Verdict
For puzzle-minded strategy players comfortable with trial-and-error and no tutorial crutches.
Compare Prices(2 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About ZHIVE
I approached Zhive skeptical of anything labeled 'small and simple' in strategy, but there's merit here. You place spawn zones on a grid map, funnel undead toward objectives, and manage limited resources across multiple fronts. The AI doesn't cheat, which means poor placement decisions are yours alone to own. No tech trees, no economy simulation, just spatial reasoning and timing. The friction comes fast: unit pathing is genuinely challenging to predict, and maps don't telegraph optimal spawn patterns. It's the kind of game where a five-minute session becomes thirty because you're convinced the next attempt will crack the puzzle. Not for players wanting cinematic strategy or narrative scaffolding. If you want pure tactical positioning without UI bloat, this delivers. Expect a niche experience designed by someone who respects your time but not your expectations for hand-holding.
