Yumeutsutsu Re:Master / 夢現Re:Master Key
A yuri visual novel set inside a Tokyo indie game studio, where a country girl chases her estranged sister and stumbles into the chaotic, oddly tender world of game development.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for patient yuri VN readers who want a genuine workplace mystery underneath the romance, and who can tolerate an opaque route unlock system.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Yumeutsutsu Re:Master / 夢現Re:Master Key
Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is a girls-love visual novel from Kogado Studio, the team behind the Nurse Love series, and it follows exactly the kind of domestic-yet-strange premise those games excel at. You play as Ai Otori, a sheltered country girl who lands a job at a tiny Tokyo indie studio called Eureka Soft after a cryptic email tips her off that her estranged sister Kokoro works there. Kokoro wants nothing to do with her. The studio is developing a remake of an in-universe yuri visual novel called NieMajo. Ai knows nothing about game development. Everybody else in the office is deeply, amusingly weird. That setup sounds like a lot to juggle, and it is, but it mostly works. The cast is the engine here. Alongside Kokoro, you get scenario writer Saki Mugendo, part-timer and aspiring voice actress Nana Tachibana (who cosplays as a maid and calls herself the Banana Maid), artist Marie Mahler, studio head Honoka Daigo, and Banako the dog who holds an official vice-president title. Three main romance routes are available - Saki, Nana, and one other - each with good and bad endings, and a locked true ending that only opens once you have cleared everything else. The true ending and several of the route conclusions are genuinely strong. Nana's route wraps too quickly, which stings given how much time you spend with her. Players who go for completion should expect roughly 60-70 hours of total reading, which is lengthy even by genre standards. The writing quality is uneven because different scenario writers handled different routes, and that inconsistency shows. The common route is a slow burn with an erratic pace - lots of workplace slice-of-life, game-industry jargon, and low-key fan service before the plot properly accelerates. The mystery thread holding everything together (why did Kokoro call Ai a demon and cut all contact?) is effective page-turner material, and the game leans into a satisfying meta angle: you are reading a visual novel about a studio making a visual novel. The choice system for unlocking specific routes is opaque and can be frustrating, since it does not simply track affection points in a transparent way. A walkthrough is practically required if you want to see every ending. Presentation is solid for the budget tier. Character art and CG illustrations are lovely, the voice cast is strong across the board for main characters, and the soundtrack holds up across a very long runtime. The localization is mostly clean but assumes some familiarity with Japanese cultural references, and a glossary is absent. Content-wise this is a PEGI 18 title with nudity and mature themes, so go in with eyes open on that front. Steam reception lands firmly in Very Positive territory, which tracks - this is a niche title doing what its niche audience wants well, with some structural rough edges that patient readers will forgive. If you liked Kogado's Nurse Love games or want a yuri VN that actually engages with its workplace setting rather than using it as wallpaper, Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is the more ambitious bet. The sequel Re:After exists as epilogue content if you fall for the cast, which you probably will.
