Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s For the Future
A niche 5D's spinoff with two pre-built decks and campaign modes, but threadbare depth for anyone serious about Yu-Gi-Oh deck-building.
GamerScout Verdict
Completionists only; the fixed deck pool and lack of construction make this more nostalgia piece than living card game.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s For the Future
I went in expecting a stripped-down TCG simulator, and that's exactly what Other Ocean delivered. You get two fixed decks (TG and Vylon), a campaign mode, and challenge duels. The upside: online PvP and controller support work without friction, and the 80% Steam score suggests the core duel engine runs cleanly. The downside is brutal: no deck construction, no card acquisition system, no ranked ladder or progression hooks. You're playing the same two matchups until you've memorized every card in rotation. If you're a Yu-Gi-Oh completionist hunting every official digital game, or you want a brain-dead two-deck sandbox to learn 5D's combos, this scratches that itch. Everyone else should ask whether they actually want to pilot pre-fab decks with zero customization. For a 2016 title with zero balance patches visible, the online scene is probably a ghost town by now.
