Your Car Shooter

I went in expecting nothing from a 2018 indie shooter with zero Steam presence, and Your Car Shooter mostly confirms why it stayed obscure. It's a straightforward arcade loop: drive, shoot, survive waves of enemies in an arena. The core mechanic, vehicle-based combat with a focus on dodging and retaliation, works well enough for short bursts, and there's a genuine dopamine hit when you chain kills and rack up multipliers. The problems are predictable for a budget title this old: visuals are bare-bones, audio is minimal, and progression hits a ceiling fast. If you're hunting for a ten-minute palate cleanser between bigger games or want a throwback to early 2000s Flash arcade games, it delivers exactly that. Anyone expecting depth, cosmetics, or reason to come back should look elsewhere.
