Space Hurricane Storm is a lightweight casual arcade game from 2018 that doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. The premise is straightforward: navigate some kind of space-themed chaos, survive waves of hazards, rack up a score. There's no pretense to story, no deep progression systems, no unlock grinds. It's the kind of game you boot up for 10 minutes, see if the core loop clicks, and move on. For what it's trying to do, that's fine. The problem is there's no word-of-mouth, no community energy, and no Steam reviews to tell you whether those 10 minutes will feel wasted or weirdly meditative. Without a clearer hook, it's hard to recommend unless you're hunting for exactly this kind of stripped-down filler.
