Xbird

Xbird is a no-frills arcade game built around a single mechanic: you control a bird and navigate it through gaps, obstacles, and hazards with minimal input. The appeal is pure, if you like Flappy Bird's one-button simplicity or games where mastering tight controls is the whole point, the core loop here delivers that. The visual style is bare-bones indie (think programmer art), which keeps the focus on movement and reaction time. The catch is that without much context, progression system explanation, or visual polish, Xbird feels incomplete. There's no story hook, no leaderboards visible, no clear difficulty curve. It's the kind of game that works best if you already know what you're signing up for: a zen test of timing and reflexes, nothing more. For arcade purists, that's enough. For everyone else, the lack of feedback or context makes it hard to know why you're playing.
