About GEARGUNS - Tank offensive
I went in with low expectations for GEARGUNS, and honestly, it delivered exactly what the title promises: you pilot a tank through offensive operations. The core loop is deliberate rather than arcade-y, which works if you prefer aiming and positioning over twitch reflexes. The game's presentation is bare-bones, and I hit a few rough edges with the UI, but there's a kernel of tactical satisfaction here that kept me clicking through missions. The problem is everything outside the tank controls feels unpolished. Environmental feedback is minimal, progression is opaque, and the difficulty curve is more of a plateau. It's not broken, just unambitious. Worth a shot if you want something different from the usual action fare, but don't expect polish or depth.
