Worth buying only if castle aesthetics genuinely matter to you - skip it if you play V Rising purely for the combat and survival loop.

About V Rising - Dracula's Relics Pack (DLC)
Let me be straight with you: this is cosmetic DLC for V Rising, a game where you play a freshly awakened vampire who needs to hunt, build a castle, and survive sunlight while either going solo or running with a small online crew. The base game is a genuinely solid action survival RPG with tight combat, a satisfying progression loop, and some of the better co-op structure in the genre. Dracula's Relics Pack does not add new mechanics, enemies, or map content. It adds visual items - decorative relics, thematic cosmetics, and castle furnishings that lean hard into classic Dracula iconography. If you came here wondering whether this unlocks new gameplay, the answer is no. What you actually get is a set of decorative pieces that fit the gothic castle-builder side of V Rising extremely well. The base game already has strong visual design, and these additions are coherent with it rather than feeling bolted on. If you are the type of player who spends real time on your castle layout and wants the interior to look like something out of a Hammer Horror film, this pack earns its place. The item quality matches the base game's art direction, which is better than average for survival game DLC cosmetics. The problem is scope. 133,973 reviews on the base game skew Very Positive at 89 percent, which tells you the community is healthy and the game has legs. But a DLC pack with no Metacritic rating and a narrow cosmetic focus lives or dies on how much you personally value aesthetics in a game that is fundamentally about hunting humans and expanding your undead territory. If you play on a private server with friends and you are the one who obsesses over the base layout, this is probably worthwhile. If you mostly play the combat loop and castle-building is a functional afterthought for you, skip it without guilt. One note worth flagging for the shooter-adjacent crowd who found V Rising through its combat: the game's action is real-time, skill-shot based, and surprisingly snappy for a survival title. Aiming matters, dodging matters, and boss fights have genuine read-and-react windows. This DLC contributes nothing to any of that. It is purely for the builder in your group. Bottom line is that Dracula's Relics Pack is a well-made cosmetic addition to a game that deserved it. It is not padding or a cash grab in the cynical sense - the items look good and fit the world. But it is also a hard pass if you have not bought the base game yet, and a conditional yes for existing players based entirely on how much your castle's aesthetic matters to you.
