TROUBLE JUICE

Trouble Juice is a side-scrolling shooter roguelike built on a simple pitch: blast through enemies, use your character's special abilities to survive, and chase achievement milestones that unlock new gear and cosmetics. It's arcade-focused and lean - runs on controller, saves to the cloud, and respects your time by design. The game-show framing (you're competing in a tournament broadcast across the galaxy) is flavor, not distraction. What works is the core loop. Each run stays short enough that failure doesn't feel punishing, and the Achievement Bingo system gives you incremental goals beyond just surviving to the next boss. The roguelike structure means you're unlocking new tools run after run, which keeps the momentum going. It's not trying to be Hades or Returnal - it's a scrappy, focused action game that knows exactly what it wants to be and doesn't pad itself with filler.
