Great couch-friendly transport sim, but buy Deluxe only if extra rolling stock genuinely matters to you.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Transport Fever 2: Console Edition – Deluxe Edition
This one is for controller-first sim players who want to plan freight routes on a couch, and it is not for anyone chasing the deep economic modelling of a Paradox title or the mod library the PC version enjoys. Transport Fever 2 on console is a solid, slow-burn network builder: you lay track and road, time your line frequencies, watch cargo chains move from raw resource to finished goods, and gradually replace steam with diesel with electric across roughly two centuries of vehicles. The campaign missions teach the systems better than most sims manage, which matters here because the real skill ceiling is in reading demand curves, not in laying pretty curves. The Deluxe package is where you need to think. What you get on top of the standard game is extra vehicle content and presentation extras rather than new systems, so no new maps, no new economy layer, no expanded AI. If you already know you will spend 100 hours restyling your 1920s network for period accuracy, the added rolling stock earns its place. Everyone else should start standard, play twenty hours, and only upgrade if the vehicle roster starts feeling thin. Console also means no Workshop mods, which is the single biggest gap versus PC and worth weighing before you commit.
