This one asks for patience up front: a base game you already own, a route it does not ship with, and the discipline to hold 79 mph between South Florida commuter stops and still put the train on the platform marker. What lands is a single locomotive, the F40PHL-2, built for push-pull running, so you drive it from the cab one way and from the far end of the consist on the return. The cab work is honest and the brake response rewards planning your stop about a mile out rather than reacting to the sign. The catch is structural. With no route included, unless you already own commuter track worth running it on or you are willing to assemble scenarios through the Workshop, you have bought a well-modelled asset with nowhere sensible to go. Series regulars with a stocked library get quiet, repeatable timetable practice and a loco that behaves consistently.
