Three hundred and nine kilometres of dedicated high-speed line is the whole product here, and it is a good one. The extension pushes the original route north from Marseille-Saint-Charles to Lyon Part-Dieu and Saint-Exupery TGV, roughly tripling its length, which turns a short sprint into an actual duty roster. Driving a TGV here is less about inputs than discipline: hold the power setting, read the cab signalling, plan braking in kilometres rather than metres. The trouble is everything around it. Lineside detail thins out once you are clear of the Rhone valley, the scenario list is short, and AI traffic is sparse enough that long stretches are you, a speed target, and a clock. The Mixed 55 percent rating tracks with that. Workshop support helps if you hunt for community scenarios, and you will want rolling stock already in your library. This is a route for drivers who already know why an hour at line speed is the point.
