Train Sim World 2: Rapid Transit Route Add-On
Own TSW2 and want another German S-Bahn timetable to drive? Fine. Want anything resembling new systems or depth? Walk away now.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it only if you already love TSW2's driving model and want more German commuter track to run.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Train Sim World 2: Rapid Transit Route Add-On
This is for the TSW2 owner who has already worn the paint off their existing German routes and just wants fresh track under the wheels. Everyone else, especially anyone hoping a route add-on will fix what they dislike about the base sim, should skip it. That framing matters because the mixed Steam standing (roughly half of 65 reviews positive) is not really a verdict on quality so much as on expectations. You are buying kilometres of commuter line and a timetable, not a new simulation layer. What you actually get is first-person cab work on an S-Bahn commuter run: door cycles, station dwell timing, signal discipline, and the slow satisfaction of hitting a schedule to the second. The driving model and physics are inherited wholesale from TSW2, so if the base game's braking feel and somewhat forgiving performance already suit you, this slots in cleanly. If it does not, nothing here changes it. My honest read on value per hour: timetable driving has real replay depth if you set your own punctuality targets, but the content ceiling is fixed on day one and there is no meaningful progression beyond achievements.
