The Walking Dead: Michonne - The Complete Season
A three-episode spin-off following the katana-wielding fan-favorite through the walker apocalypse, Telltale's signature branching narrative with all its momentum and limitations intact.
GamerScout Verdict
For Walking Dead completionists and Michonne fans who want more story, not innovation.

About The Walking Dead: Michonne - The Complete Season
I went in expecting a Michonne story to capitalize on her popularity, and that's exactly what you get: three episodes of dialogue-heavy choices that shape how she processes trauma and trust in a post-outbreak world. The writing leans into her character arc rather than retreading the main series, and if you're invested in her, that's worth the runtime. The real issue is scope. This is Telltale's formula on autopilot, quick-time events, moral forks that feel like they matter less than they should, and environments that aren't particularly interactive. It works fine if you want more walking dead storytelling, but it doesn't push the engine or the format. Metacritic sitting at 67 tells you it's competent fan service, not a reinvention. Skip it if Telltale fatigue has already set in; revisit it if you finished season two thinking "I need more Michonne."
