The Escapists DLC Bundle (DLC) Key
Four extra prisons for The Escapists, one solo cooperative, one Bond-flavored, one festive, one infamous. More crafting, more routines, more walls to dig through.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth grabbing if you cleared the base game's six prisons and want more of that same handcrafted, intentionally opaque escape-planning loop.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About The Escapists DLC Bundle (DLC) Key
The Escapists DLC Bundle is exactly what it says: four additional prison maps bundled together for Mouldy Toof Studios' bird's-eye prison-break sandbox. You need the base game already in your library, so this is purely an extension purchase, not a starting point. If you already know the rhythm of morning roll call, afternoon jobs, stolen contraband, and hand-crafted shivs, these four packs drop you into new settings that each play a little differently from the prisons you have cleared before. The four packs are Alcatraz Prison, Escape Team, Duct Tapes are Forever, and Santa's Sweatshop. Alcatraz is the straightforward prestige challenge: the island location tightens the geography and raises the guard pressure, rewarding players who have already mastered the base game's crafting logic. Duct Tapes are Forever leans into a spy-thriller skin with its own unique item set and escape routes. Escape Team shifts the format toward cooperative play, which is the most structurally distinct of the four. Santa's Sweatshop is the seasonal outlier, a festive oddity that feels like a self-aware joke the dev was clearly enjoying when designing it. Each map is, importantly, just one map per pack. Community opinion on that has always been split. Players who treat each prison as a slow-burn puzzle they revisit multiple times tend to find the value reasonable. Players who clear a map once and move on will feel the content-per-pack ratio is thin. That honest tension is worth knowing before you buy. What the bundle does well is variety of mood. The core loop stays consistent: study the schedule, work jobs to earn coins, befriend or manipulate inmates, craft tools from mundane objects, find the seam in the prison's logic and pull on it. The 8-bit sprites and chiptune soundtrack do real emotional work here. There is something quietly absurdist about planning a meticulous escape from a North Pole sweatshop in the same mechanical language you used to tunnel out of a maximum security island. That tonal range is one of the original Escapists' underrated qualities, and these maps lean into it. The difficulty wall the base game is known for carries through. Nothing in the bundle holds your hand. Figuring out the crafting combinations and timing a distraction while slipping past a guard undetected is satisfying precisely because the game refuses to teach you directly. That said, if the base game already pushed your patience past its limit, no map skin will fix that. The core design philosophy, intentionally opaque and rewarding of experimentation, is unchanged here. For someone who finished the base game's six prisons and wanted more before The Escapists 2 arrived, this bundle was a sensible next stop. Today it sits in a slightly awkward position: the sequel exists, it is more refined, and the original can feel dated by comparison. But if you are playing the first game and genuinely enjoy its handcrafted, one-developer energy, these four maps extend that specific feeling without diluting it.
