[TDA02] Muv-Luv Unlimited: THE DAY AFTER - Episode 02 REMASTERED

I went in expecting another straightforward visual novel, but The Day After Episode 02 is heavy on worldbuilding and lighter on player agency than the marketing suggests. You're reading through branching conversations as the Shogun arrives in Seattle with a potential food-production solution, but the real meat is political tension simmering under the surface. If you haven't played Episode 01, you'll feel lost; this isn't standalone. The pacing assumes you care about the existing cast and plot threads. What works: the writing is genuinely invested in its setting and characters, and fans of the Muv-Luv universe will recognize the care taken with lore consistency. What doesn't: it's purely a visual novel with no gameplay to speak of beyond reading and clicking dialogue trees. There's no puzzle-solving, no combat, no exploration. You're here for the story or you're not. The remaster touch-up is appreciated but doesn't change the fundamental experience. This is niche, Episode 02 is for people who've already sunk hours into Episode 01 and need to know what happens next.
