Talk to Strangers
A lo-fi door-to-door sales sim where every conversation is a logic puzzle wrapped in surreal humor and genuine social friction.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for puzzle-focused players who enjoy reading people and don't need flashy production to get hooked.

About Talk to Strangers
I don't usually find much to sink teeth into with casual sims, but Talk to Strangers nails the core loop: you knock on doors, chat with increasingly bizarre characters, decode what they actually want, and negotiate trades. It's part conversation parser, part resource management. The neighborhood logic is the draw here - each NPC has overlapping wants and psychological tells you learn to read. The game respects your attention span and rewards pattern recognition over grinding. The trade-off is scope. This is a weekend game, not a 200-hour rabbit hole, and the art style won't wow anyone. But if you've ever felt the tension of a real sales call twisted into absurdist fiction, the writing lands. No tutorial hand-holding, just you and a clipboard of strangers. Low production values hide a genuinely sharp design.
