About Stronghold: Warlords - The Mongol Empire Campaign (DLC)
The moment my siege camp fell to a Mongol flanking raid because I'd committed too many peasants to the ox pens, I knew this was one of those castle-sim campaigns that punishes greedy build orders. This pack is an add-on for Stronghold: Warlords, so it does nothing without the base game installed. What it adds is a self-contained campaign built around the Mongol Empire: a new sequence of scripted missions using the same economy chain, warlord diplomacy and siege engine you already know, with achievements attached and the level editor and Workshop support carried over from the base build. The honest ceiling here is that it's more Warlords, not different Warlords. If the base game's mission pacing already wore you down, this won't change your mind. If you finished the main campaign, liked the warlord recruitment loop and want another twenty-odd hours of scripted sieges, it's a straightforward yes. Check the store listing for the exact mission count before you commit.
