About Spirit Mancer - Demon Hunter Edition
The card-capture loop is the whole reason to play this. You beat a demon down with a sword, break it open with gunfire, seal it into a card, then fling that same card back into the next fight as a summon. Sunny Syrup Studio built a small combat system that keeps talking back to itself, and it holds up because the animation work sells every hit. Inferno is drawn with real affection: thick outlines, saturated palettes, backgrounds that look painted rather than assembled. It plays best on a pad, and it wants you playing aggressively rather than waiting for openings. Where it wobbles is structure. The level-to-level rhythm gets repetitive before the credits, some encounters lean on volume instead of design, and the story around the evil queen is thin scaffolding for the fighting. Split-screen co-op is a genuine gift here and the better way to see it through. Come for the art and the summon system, not the narrative.
