About Spirit Mancer - Ancient Dragon Spirit Card Set
The store page sells a demon-catching brawler with a card-summoning twist, and for the first couple of hours that is precisely what you get. You knock enemies down with melee, finish them with a capture, then slot them into a deck you fire off mid-combo. The pixel work is genuinely lovely, thick outlines, expressive hit sparks, backgrounds that feel painted rather than tiled, and the melee-to-ranged switching has real snap on a pad. Where it drifts from the pitch is depth. The summon loop clicks early and then mostly repeats, stage layouts recycle, and the campaign is short enough that a weak middle stretch is a real cost. Couch co-op is the fix. Split screen, or Remote Play Together with a friend, turns the repetition into something companionable. Play it that way and the seams stop mattering.
