GamerScout Verdict
A joke game that's fun as a novelty for 30 minutes, then done. Skip unless you collect weird celebrity tie-ins.

About Shannon Tweed's Attack Of The Groupies
I went in expecting either a joke or a genuine hidden gem. Shannon Tweed's Attack Of The Groupies is neither. It's a straightforward tower-defense game where you place defensive units to protect Shannon from waves of increasingly absurd groupies. The tower mechanics are basic, the strategy layer is thin, and the celebrity tie-in feels tacked on rather than integral to the gameplay. There's charm in how aggressively goofy the premise is, and if you're shopping for a 30-minute palate-cleanser or want to show friends something ridiculous, it delivers exactly that. But there's no depth to sink teeth into, no progression that hooks you, and no reason to return after you've seen what it offers. It's a novelty item from 2014 that hasn't aged into something more interesting.
