Shadow Empire: Oceania
A map generator bolt-on for Shadow Empire that only pays off if you already speak fluent supply-line. Everyone else should buy the base game and come back in 100 hours.
GamerScout Verdict
Only for veterans with 100+ hours in Shadow Empire's supply layer who want water to break their build order.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Shadow Empire: Oceania
This one is for the player who already runs Shadow Empire campaigns with a notepad beside the keyboard and knows why a rifle stack starves two hexes past a broken road. Anyone else should walk away and start with the base game, because Oceania does not teach, it complicates. The pitch is archipelago-heavy procedural worlds: fragmented landmasses, water gaps that break your logistics chain, and campaigns where naval transport stops being an afterthought and becomes the whole planning problem. Hex-grid movement, the same brutal supply model, the same procedurally generated planets and regimes. It just refuses to give you a contiguous continent to bully. What works is the way water rewrites your opening. Expansion becomes a shipping question, and the AI is at least competent enough to punish an undefended coast. What disappoints is everything around that idea. There is no new tutorialisation for naval play, the interface still buries the numbers you need, and the 72 percent Steam score reflects players who found the archipelago maps more fiddly than deep. Buy it as a variation, not an expansion.
