About Session: Skate Sim Prague (DLC)
Session: Skate Sim Prague is a location expansion for crea-ture Studios' hardcore skate simulation, and it does exactly one thing: hands you a new map centered on a Prague square where locals have repurposed a former monument site into what the game frames as a world-class skate destination. If you already own and like Session, you know the deal. If you are new, this DLC is not your entry point. The base game's core mechanic carries over fully here. Each analog stick controls an individual foot, so landing tricks requires genuine muscle memory built over hours of repetition. Prague adds architectural variety to that learning curve. The converted monument space gives you banks, ledges, and ground textures that feel distinct from the existing roster of spots. Whether that geometry translates into genuinely interesting line options depends on how much you enjoy mapping out a space methodically and finding the three or four transitions that actually chain together cleanly. As a strategy-and-sim specialist I normally look for decision trees, AI behavior, and systems depth. Session does have a systems layer, one that rewards deliberate, almost obsessive attention to foot placement and trick sequencing in a way that scratches a similar itch. Prague's map is a single concentrated location rather than an open sandbox, so the decision-making is spatial and physical rather than macro-level. You are optimizing a run, not a campaign. That is a narrower loop than the base game already offers, which means this DLC lives or dies on how much you enjoy grinding (literally) on its specific terrain. The practical concerns are worth naming. There are no Steam reviews available at the time of writing, and the DLC carries no Metacritic rating, so community consensus is essentially nonexistent right now. The features list is lean: single-player only, full controller support (absolutely necessary given the dual-stick control scheme), and Steam Achievements. There is no multiplayer component, no additional mechanics, and no tutorial content beyond what the base game already provides. Newcomers hoping this smaller purchase is a soft entry point will find that assumption punished quickly. For existing Session players who want more spots and can appreciate the historical texture of skating around a repurposed Prague landmark, this is a competent content drop. For everyone else, the base game itself is the proper starting question, and Prague should sit further down the checklist. Diego, Scout Team
