Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch
Smooth, polished hidden-object comfort food with puzzles that never once make you think. Fine for a rainy afternoon, forgettable by dinner.
GamerScout Verdict
A clean, forgettable afternoon for hidden-object regulars; skip it if you want puzzles with any real bite.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch
The presentation is the best thing here, and it holds up better than the reviews suggest. Scenes are hand-painted, clearly lit, and readable, so hunting Alexander the Great's scattered relics never devolves into pixel-squinting through mud. Samantha herself is a likable pulp-adventure lead, and the globe-trotting frame gives the object lists a bit of context instead of dumping random junk on a table. Click response is crisp, the hint system is generous, and nothing about the interface fights you. The trouble is that the thinking stops at the art. Object lists are pure scavenger busywork, the interstitial puzzles are rearrange-the-tiles filler you've solved a hundred times, and the whole thing wraps up in an afternoon with no reason to reopen it. There's no adaptive difficulty, no meaningful failure state, no moment where the design surprises you. If you want a low-stakes point-and-click to run while a podcast plays, it does that job cleanly. If you want a hidden-object game with actual puzzle teeth, keep walking.
