I approached Rogue City knowing it's a small indie effort, and that lens matters here. This is a casual top-down shooter where you push back against organized crime using straightforward gunplay and movement mechanics. No complex build systems or decade-long progression gates. The appeal is pick-up-and-play simplicity: point, shoot, clear the street. It's the kind of game that doesn't demand mastery, just willingness to engage with uncomplicated systems.
