Risk: Urban Assault
A console take on the tabletop classic that keeps turns quick and the dice honest, best played with friends in party chat rather than against its wobbly AI.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it for digital Risk nights with friends on console; skip if you want depth beyond the tabletop loop.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Risk: Urban Assault
Ubisoft's Monopoly Plus showed that a glossy console board game port can still play like a chore. Risk: Urban Assault dodges that by keeping turns fast and the dice math legible. You get the classic world map and army-stacking loop, plus rule variants that let you close a match on objectives instead of grinding toward total conquest, and the Urban Assault mode swaps continents for tighter city battlegrounds that punish turtling and reward early pushes. The rough edges are the ones you would expect from a low-profile 2016 console release. Presentation is functional rather than characterful, the AI swings between passive and dice-blessed, and online lobbies were quiet then and quieter now. Treat it as a party-chat game with three friends who already know the rules and it holds up for a night. Go in hoping for real strategic depth past Risk's core loop and you will find the same coin-flip fights the tabletop has always had, just faster.
