Boggle

I went in expecting Boggle to be a straightforward digital port of the classic dice-shaking word game, and that's mostly what it is. You've got three minutes to spot words on a grid of scrambled letters, compete locally or online against other players, and rack up points based on word length and rarity. It's simple enough that anyone can jump in, and the core loop of scanning the board for hidden words is genuinely satisfying when you nail a good find. The problem is that there's not much meat on the bones beyond that loop. No campaign, no progression system, no reason to keep playing after the novelty wears off unless you've got a regular group willing to dial in for word battles. It's fine for a quick couch session with friends, but it doesn't have the staying power of something designed for solo play or ranked grinding. If you're after pure word-game competition and don't mind the lightweight presentation, go for it. If you're hunting for something with depth, this isn't your board.
