About Rime's quest
Rime's Quest throws you into the Roman Empire as a traveler tired of the ordinary life. You'll solve puzzles, fight enemies, and chase an epic quest that promises more than its modest budget probably allows. The core loop of exploration and riddle-solving has potential, and there's something appealing about a game that doesn't overthink itself. That said, the rough edges are real, combat feels mechanical, the storytelling is thin, and the whole package screams "one developer's passion project" in ways that don't always work in its favor. If you're the type who enjoys scrappy indie adventures and can forgive technical jank for the sake of a completed vision, there's a weekend here. Everyone else should know what they're walking into: this isn't polished, but it's earnest.
