What it actually delivers is a themed content drop layered onto the existing planet-shaping loop: frozen terrain and its associated biome projects, plus new giant-driven abilities and resource combinations to fold into your era planning, along with the usual Steam achievement additions. Abbey Games has not published an exhaustive component list here, so treat the store listing as the authoritative inventory before you commit. Mechanically, the value is in the puzzle math rather than the spectacle. If you already optimise symbiosis chains and squeeze ambassador cities for every last resource tick, a new climate variable is genuinely a fresh constraint to solve, and the base game's 94 percent Very Positive standing suggests that audience is large and happy. If you finished a couple of eras, felt done, and never went back, this will not change that. Completionists and repeat-run players first, everyone else can skip it without missing anything structural.
