Redrum: Dead Diary
A hand-drawn ghost story where being dead is the whole puzzle system, wrapped in asylum humor that lands about half the time.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth an evening if hand-drawn gloom and a ghost-possession puzzle hook outweigh a couple of walkthrough-grade dead ends.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Redrum: Dead Diary
You are a ghost, and that single fact rewires every puzzle in this asylum. You cannot pick things up like a normal point-and-click protagonist. You possess, nudge, and haunt the living into doing the work for you, which means every inventory chain doubles as a question about who in the building can be steered and how. When that clicks, it's genuinely clever, and the hand-drawn gloom carries it. Anarchy Enterprises drew a sanitarium that feels damp, and the mood does a lot of quiet work while you're stuck. And you will get stuck. Two or three puzzle chains here run on logic that never quite surfaces in the art or dialogue, and the honest answer is that most players reach for a walkthrough rather than a second guess. The dark humor swings broad, sometimes charmingly, sometimes into old asylum cliches that have aged poorly. It's short, a single evening, and I'd rather a small game know its length than pad itself out. Go in for the atmosphere and the possession hook. Keep a tab open.
