Pro Evolution Soccer 2019
A five-year-old football sim that was already overshadowed by FIFA at launch and hasn't aged gracefully since.

About Pro Evolution Soccer 2019
Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 lands in that awkward window where it's too old to compete with modern football sims but too niche to have built lasting community appeal. Konami's answer to FIFA plays it safe with arcade-friendly passing and shooting, licensed leagues, and the usual Master League career mode. If you're hunting a cheap football game and don't mind dated graphics and mechanics, it's functional. The real problem: PES 2019 had a tiny multiplayer base even on day one, so online modes are ghost towns now, and the roster was stale by 2020. This is a solid pass unless you specifically want an older sim to tinker with offline. Modern alternatives (even free-to-play options like eFootball) outclass it in every measurable way.
