Power Punch II

Power Punch II is a stripped-down boxing sim that follows Mark Tyler through a campaign of increasingly absurd opponents, culminating in a fight against extraterrestrials. The gameplay is straightforward: jab, hook, and uppercut your way through opponents with basic timing-based combat. There's no fancy footwork or ring strategy here, just rhythm-game-adjacent punch timing that either clicks for you or doesn't. The alien fight angle is the game's only real personality, and it's not enough to carry the whole experience. This is a budget release with budget production values, and it knows it. If you're hunting for retro boxing arcade action without expectations, there's something oddly charming about its simplicity. Most players will finish it in an afternoon and move on. Only grab this if you specifically want a no-frills punch-'em-up and don't mind rough edges.
