Planet Coaster - Knight Rider K.I.T.T. Construction Kit
A narrow but lovingly detailed cosmetic DLC: worth grabbing if you grew up watching K.I.T.T. outrun bad guys, borderline skippable if nostalgia isn't part of your park-builder toolkit.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for creative sandbox builders with a Knight Rider soft spot; pure management players will find nothing here to justify the purchase.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Planet Coaster - Knight Rider K.I.T.T. Construction Kit
I'll be upfront: when I review a scenery-only DLC, my first question is always whether the pieces are modular enough to earn a permanent spot in my build rotation, or whether they'll collect dust the moment the novelty wears off. The Knight Rider K.I.T.T. Construction Kit sits right on that line. What you're actually getting here is a focused cosmetic pack for the base game, Planet Coaster, Frontier's deep-but-approachable theme park simulator that earned its 84 on Metacritic and a Very Positive rating across tens of thousands of Steam reviews by nailing the balance between sandbox creativity and management pressure. The DLC itself delivers three vehicle replicas: K.I.T.T. in standard form, K.I.T.T. in Super Pursuit Mode, and the rival prototype K.A.R.R. in its silver-and-black finish. Each vehicle comes in two scales, a 1:1.2 scenic prop for static display and a 1:1.8 kitbash set you can disassemble and recombine piece by piece. That kitbash system is the real value proposition. The six-piece build set for each vehicle means you can strip the bodywork off, use a door panel as a sci-fi wall feature, or mount a bumper section as a themed entrance arch. If you treat the assets as a raw parts bin rather than display models, the creative ceiling is higher than the marketing suggests. Rounding things out: a miniature K.I.T.T. kart skin for the Speed go-kart track, a large backlit Knight Rider logo sign, and a pair of themed FX pieces including an explosion and two bullet impact effects. The honest limitation here is scope. This is not a ride, not a new mechanic, not a scenario. Planet Coaster's core game rewards players who engage with guest happiness metrics, staff wages, queue management, and coaster physics in Career Mode's 20-plus challenge scenarios. This DLC contributes nothing to any of those systems. If your play style leans management-heavy, the K.I.T.T. kit will sit unused while you chase park rating stars and sort out your ride pricing. It lands squarely in the creative sandbox camp, aimed at players who already know how to make a park run and now want to theme a corner of it around a talking 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. From a community angle, the Workshop integration matters here. Planet Coaster's Steam Workshop is active, and DLC asset usage in shared blueprints is flagged so non-owners know what they're missing. That cuts both ways: your K.I.T.T.-themed blueprints reach a wide audience, but anyone without the pack will hit locked pieces if they try to edit your designs. It is a friction point worth knowing before you build a whole themed area you plan to share. The pack was part of Frontier's first wave of paid optional content, released alongside Back to the Future and Munsters kits, so community reception was shaped largely by whether players accepted the paid-cosmetic model at all. Responses were moderately positive rather than enthusiastic, which tracks with the DLC's own Steam score sitting lower than the base game's stellar numbers. Bottom line for strategy-minded sim players: Planet Coaster itself is the real recommendation, a management and construction sim with genuine depth once you move past the tutorial and start stress-testing your finances across multi-hour sessions. This particular DLC is a conditional add-on. If the Knight Rider license genuinely excites you and you build themed zones as a primary activity, the kitbash modularity gives you enough raw parts to justify the purchase. If you're chasing gameplay substance, spend that money elsewhere in the base game's ecosystem.
