Pipes!

I booted Pipes expecting nothing and got exactly that, which is oddly refreshing. You're given a grid of pipe segments, rotate them to align, and connect them end-to-end until you've got one continuous system. There's no timer, no lives, no story pretense. Just you and the puzzle. The core mechanic works fine for what it is: satisfying little clicks as pieces snap into place, minimal friction, zero learning curve. It's the kind of game you play while a show is on in the background. That said, there's no difficulty scaling, no variation in puzzle types, and no real hook to keep you past the first few levels. Good for 30-45 minutes of low-stakes fun, not much more.
