About Pickers
I spent a few hours with Pickers expecting a hidden object game, but it's actually something gentler: a shop-management loop where you visit flea markets, farm sales, and abandoned storage units looking for items to flip. You negotiate prices, haul finds back to your shop, clean them up, and either sell direct or put them on the auction block. It's thin on story and graphics are basic, but there's something weirdly satisfying about spotting a diamond in the rough and turning a quick profit. The core appeal is straightforward: hunt, negotiate, sell, repeat. There's no time pressure or failure state that I hit, which makes it genuinely chill to play in short bursts. If you're after puzzle-solving or action, this isn't it. But if you liked the slower-paced resource loops of Stardew Valley or just enjoy the idea of being a scrappy antique dealer without the math getting complicated, Pickers scratches that itch. It's niche and dated, but it knows exactly what it is.
