Oriental Empires: Three Kingdoms (DLC)
Add-on / DLC for Oriental Empires — view full gameA Three Kingdoms era campaign bolted onto Oriental Empires. Useless on its own, decent value if you already have 100 turns of the base game in your log.
GamerScout Verdict
For existing Oriental Empires players who want a Three Kingdoms scenario; newcomers should start with the base game.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Oriental Empires: Three Kingdoms (DLC)
The first hour of Oriental Empires buries you in tile yields and edict menus, and pushing through is worth it, but do that in the base game before touching this: Three Kingdoms is an add-on and will not launch without it. What you get here is a period campaign set in the fractured post-Han years, with its own factions, leaders and starting map rather than new systems layered onto the sandbox. The store listing carries the exact faction and unit breakdown. Buy it if you already know your way around a 200-turn Oriental Empires campaign and want a tighter, more warlord-driven start. If the base game's opening still confuses you, skip it for now.
