Omerta City of Gangsters Gold Edition
A 2013 Prohibition-era management sim where you run a criminal empire in Atlantic City, but the economy system and AI rivals are where the real game lives, if you can tolerate the clunky interface.
GamerScout Verdict
Deep economic sim wrapped in dated UI, for strategy players who value spreadsheet depth over polish.
Compare Prices(6 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Omerta City of Gangsters Gold Edition
I went in expecting a tactical combat game, but Omerta is really about supply chains, territory control, and watching your rival gangs make stupid decisions. You manage speakeasy profits, brewing operations, and protection rackets while turn-based combat handles turf wars. The simulation layer is where the depth hides: build order matters, market pricing fluctuates, and badly-timed expansion will bankrupt you fast. The UI is dated and tutorials are sparse, so expect a learning curve that rewards spreadsheet-thinking. The combat itself is functional but forgettable, positioning and cover exist, but it's not why you'll sink 40 hours in. Late-game empire management against competent AI rivals is the hook. Fair warning: this is a 2013 Kalypso release, so expect occasional jank and a modding scene that's thin. If you're after a slower-paced business sim with teeth and don't need AAA polish, it scratches a specific itch.
