Best for players who value atmospheric weirdness and 90s adventure nostalgia over slick controls and modern QoL.

About Oddworld Pack Key
I approached the Oddworld Pack expecting mid-90s adventure-game jank, and I got exactly that, but with a visual identity so warped it's stayed in my head decades later. These are point-and-click puzzle-solvers with dialogue trees and inventory management, wrapped in industrial-gothic environments full of hostile NPCs and dark comedy. The puzzles are solvable if you're patient enough to click everything, though some solutions feel arbitrary by modern standards. The real draw is the art and atmosphere. Oddworld Inhabitants built a genuinely alien world that looked like nothing else on PC at the time, all corroded metal, grotesque creatures, and a pervasive sense of dread mixed with absurdist humor. If you can tolerate slower pacing and occasional dead-end logic, this is a cult-classic experience that earned its 88 Metacritic score through sheer weirdness and craft. Fair warning: it's aged rough around the controls, but the weirdness holds up fine.
