For motocross fans on Xbox willing to overlook dated presentation and erratic AI in exchange for authentic racing.

About MXGP3
I went in expecting a solid motocross racer, but MXGP3 is best described as competent rather than compelling. The bike handling feels responsive enough, and running through the 2016 season calendar with real riders and teams gives it some authentic flavor. Career mode lets you progress through lower-tier championships toward the main event, which scratches the sim itch if you're hungry for it. The catch: this is a 2017 game that shows its age hard. Graphics are rough even for the era, and the AI opponents can feel erratic one lap and wall-off defensive the next. Collision physics work but aren't particularly forgiving. If you're a motocross enthusiast without access to fresher sims, or hunting for obscure racing games on Xbox, it's playable. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
